Mindful Movement and Meditation

Each mindfulness session will involve an exploration of the mind-body connection. Meditations will vary in their sensory focus (e.g., sight, touch, sound), will be led in stillness (e.g., seated meditations) and in movement (e.g., yoga/ walking/ dance).

Themes will be introduced at the start of session and will center around difficulties that arise (i.e. thoughts, emotions, sensations), with suggestions on how to cope with these experiences. Each session will help to nurture the capacity for non-judgmental, present moment, embodied awareness. Over time, this work will foster greater self awareness and self compassion, greater connection with one's higher and creative self.

*No prior experience with meditation is necessary.
